Immanuel Communities has a rich heritage of compassionate service to the community. In 1887, Pastor Fogelstrom and five Deaconesses created a ministry that emphasized “works of mercy” As their ministry began, these works of mercy were translated into programs and buildings that served the sick, elderly and orphans.

Guided by our heritage, Immanuel Communities is built upon our commitment to serve. As leaders in retirement housing we continue to carry out the legacy of Pastor Fogelstrom through our current ministries, which include senior housing and services. Immanuel employs more than 400 team members dedicated to Christ-centered service.
